"When a few of us future Edmonds Woodway girls basketball players started working on trying to resurrect the E/W girls feeder program, we had a hard time getting traction as we just didn’t know what we were doing. Luckily, I learned about SSF and their experience running other feeder programs in Shoreline and North Seattle. My daughter was lucky enough to be part of their AAU program and saw how great their coaching, leadership and dedication to the greater community was. It was a perfect fit to help my daughter gain confidence as a leader, a basketball player, teammate, and community member.
Seeing all of the community based programs that SSF runs and promotes we knew would be crucial to helping us get buy in for the girls feeder program from the Edmonds Woodway community and help us establish a strong foundation to build off of. SSF is about doing things the right way to help players have success on and off the court and that was extremely important to those of us trying to get this program off the ground. We couldn’t be happier with SSF for all the guidance and help they’ve given us as we work with them to get the Edmonds Woodway girls feeder program back up and running for the next generation of girls to showcase their talents on and off the court."
-Chad Wichers, Father of 2 future E/W Warriors
*Note* Tryouts will consist of multiple feeder programs. We will be forming teams based on school district therefore you daughter will only be trying out for her local feeder team and will not have her spot taken by someone from another school*
